SPA-235 Spanish for Heritage Speakers
This course is designed for heritage speakers of
Spanish with oral proficiency but with little or
no formal training in the language. The course
will expand students' linguistic abilities
through intensive grammar instruction, vocabulary
building, readings from various academic and
professional contexts, and writing assignments.
Students will develop their abilities to
communicate in an accurate, informed manner
within various registers and socio-cultural
contexts.
Prerequisite
Proficiency level must be demonstrated by placement test results prior to taking this course.
