PSY-370 Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine

This course examines the relationships between individual behavior, environment, culture, and health. Attention is given to theory as well as clinical and laboratory research. Topics of investigation include social determinants of health, the biopsychosocial model, behavior change interventions, and stress and coping.

One 100-level PSY course (from PSY-100 or PSY-112) and one 200-level PSY course (from PSY-201, PSY-202, PSY-203, or PSY-206) must be completed prior to taking PSY-370.
