MAT-115 Mathematics for Elementary Teachers III
Intended for prospective elementary or middle school teachers. Topics include probability, geometric figures, congruence and similarity, and measurement (area, perimeter, volume and surface area). The emphasis is on Instructional Shifts for Common Core Mathematics taught in the elementary school classroom, using a variety of teaching techniques, methods, and hands-on materials, including manipulatives and technology.
Prerequisite
MAT-114 must be completed with a grade of C- or better prior to taking this course.
