HIS-358 People's Republic of China
This course will examine the rise of the Chinese
Communist Party and the history of the People?s
Republic of China. Topics will include the
communist revolution, the Great Leap Forward, the
Cultural Revolution, and the 1989 democracy
movement. No prior knowledge of China is assumed
or required.
