HIS-347 18th-Century Europe: Empires and Modernity

An examination of European history in the years between 1688 and 1815. Special attention is given to politics, ideology, and social change in France, the Germanic principalities, and the Netherlands as they evolved the military, imperial, and governmental structures of the modern nation-state.
