SEI 6620 Adult Stages of Being
This course delves into the impact of social and emotional intelligence on the various stages of adult growth and development. Students will explore the ways in which social connections, loneliness, and emotional barriers shape the adult experience. By examining the challenges inherent to adulthood, students will gain insight into emotional barriers that can lead to misplaced identity. Through case studies and applicable exercises, students will acquire the skills necessary to strengthen social and emotional connections and fortify their capacity to be resilient in the face of life's challenges across the adult lifespan.
