RES 7112 Research Analysis

This doctoral-level course provides comprehensive training in quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies using SPSS and MAXQDA software tools. Designed to equip students with the essential skills for conducting rigorous data analysis, the course covers fundamental statistical techniques, including hypothesis testing, and how to develop proper statistical interpretations from their analyses, alongside qualitative analysis techniques such as coding, thematic analysis, and content analysis. Through hands-on exercises and real-world applications, students will learn to navigate both software platforms proficiently, ensuring they are well-prepared to undertake sophisticated data analysis for their dissertations and future research endeavors.
