LIT 189H La Globalizacion en/del Cine Latin/o Americano
Speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in Spanish required. Examines globalization of Latin/o American cinema as a cultural industry. Classical issues of cultural politics and political economy are revisited from the viewpoint of current global processes. Also provides access to the representation of different aspects of globalization in Latin/o American cinema. Critical approach designations: Media, Power and Subjectivities.
