LIT 125J French Science Fiction

Considers several French literary and cinematic examples of contemplating the present through the future—and the past—that paint a shifting picture of how time makes us human. Course also examines the French novel as it has developed in conversation with scientific thought since the late-19th century. All works are read in English. Critical approach designations: Genres, Geographies.
