Focuses on Sigmund Freud, Jacques Lacan, and contemporary race, feminist, queer, and transgender theories. May include Frantz Fanon, Toni Morrison, Slavoj Zizek, Alfred Hitchcock, Judith Butler, Edgar Allen Poe, Chris Marker, Ralph Ellison, David Siegel and Flannery O’Connor.
