AST 245 Tweeting Into the Future: Race, Technology & Social Media

This course, open to all undergraduate students, and will focus on the ways technology, social media and race intersect. Particular attention will be paid to the uses of new media by communities of color (with emphasis on African Americans) and the innovative ways technology can create, maintain or challenge identities and stereotypes.
