Interdisciplinary Major in General Studies (BA, CompleteDegree)

The online interdisciplinary major in General Studies program (BA) is for CompleteDegree students only. The curriculum includes 40 credits of core courses in the areas of Social Justice, Global Change Science, Planning and Organization, Humanities, Communication, and Literacy, and Policy. Students have the opportunity to tailor their degree with electives that align with their unique academic and professional interests.

All required courses must be taken at Simmons unless they are waived by the director. 

Students must complete 32 credits of the 128 credit minimum requirement at Simmons per University policy.
