SW 547B Field Course: Accelerated
SW547A & B Field Education- One Year Placement Option Requires Instructor permission. The goal of field education is the application of theoretical concepts and social work principals and values learned in the classroom to clinical practice. Field education provides supervised learning of advanced practice skills with individuals, families and groups in a variety of clinical settings. This course section is 32 hrs/4-days-per-week fall and spring semesters. Concurrent required courses are SW424 in Fall and a clinical practice elective in Spring. Enrollment in SW547 requires advisor approval. 6 Credits per semester.
