SPN110 Spanish for Law Enforcement

Spanish for Law Enforcement is an introductory course that emphasizes communicative competencies across the basic four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and covers all the grammar topics of a regular Spanish 1 course. It presents vocabulary used by criminal justice practitioners who seek basic conversational skills in Spanish at work settings such as police stations, prisons and on the street. This program highlights Hispanic customs and traditions to better understand the needs of members of Spanish-speaking communities.
