ACT 490 Internship
Senior students register for accounting experience with cooperating firms in the Washington metropolitan area. Only substantial accounting internships qualify. The internship is monitored by the College of Business, Innovation, Leadership, and Technology coordinator for internships and a representative of the cooperating company. Application should be made three to six months prior to registration to permit exploration of internship opportunities. Prerequisites: permission of the College of Business, Innovation, Leadership, and Technology coordinator for internships minimum of 90 credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better, a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better in all business courses, and 18 credits in accounting coursework.
