Speech and Language Pathology
The Speech Language Pathology program prepares individuals to evaluate the speech, language, swallowing, and related physiological and cognitive capabilities of children and adults and to develop treatment and rehabilitative solutions often as members of interprofessional teams with other health professionals and educators. in the program of study includes instruction in the anatomy and physiology of speech, hearing and swallowing, biomechanics of swallowing and vocal articulation, communications disorders across the lifespan, psychology of auditory function and cognitive communication, speech, language and swallowing assessment and diagnostics, and rehabilitation and management.
