HI 314 Revolutionary and Napoleonic France

A study of France from the rule of Louis XIV through the fall of Napoleon. The course investigates the upheavals of the French Revolution in the realms of politics, culture, and society and considers the French Revolution’s historical legacy. Prerequisite: HI 103 or HI 104.
