CPS 4851 FOUNDATIONS OF EDGE AI
This course introduces the fundamentals of Edge AI, which integrates artificial intelligence with edge computing. Students will learn about the design, deployment, and management of AI applications at the edge of the network, close to the data sources. The curriculum covers technical aspects of Edge AI, including data processing, model training, and inference at the edge, as well as ethical, security, and privacy considerations. Through lectures, labs, and projects, students will gain hands-on experience in developing Edge AI solutions for real-world problems.
