Management

 

Management focuses on the skills required to manage the operations of business.  Problem-solving, critical thinking, information technology, and communication skills are demanded in the successful manager. The Bachelor's degree prepares students for entry level positions in areas of general management, human resource management, system analysis, information management, international business, entrepreneur, business analytics, project manager, supply chain manager, IT manager, digital project manager, and sport event coordinator. Increasingly this field will require study at the graduate level. human resource management, systems analysis, information management, and international business. Declaration Requirements:             

  1. G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher with 30 or more semester hours. If fewer than 30 credits have been completed, GPA will be calculated from all transfer institutions attended.
  2. Complete the GE Foundation requirements with a “C” or better in ENG 1020, COMM 1402,  MATH 1044 or MATH*1054, GE 2021
  3. Complete all of the following with a “C” or better:
    • ECO 1020 Principles of Economics I
    • ECO 1021 Principles of Economics II
    • MGS 2150 Business Statistics and Applications
    • ACCT 2200 principles of Accounting I
    • CPS 1032 Microcomputer Applications
