BIO3433 ANAT AND PHYS I HONORS
Designed for preprofessional students in biology and medical technology. These Honors courses integrate gross and microscopic structure of the human body systems with their function at a more intensive level than Bio 3403-3404. Laboratories synchronized with lecture-discussion materials and include studies with microscopic and macroscopic materials, prosected models, animal specimens and computer simulations. Bio 3433 starts with introductory topics on bio- chemical, cellular amd histological units and covers the integumentary, skeltal, muscular and nervous systems. Prerequisites: Bio 2400 and Chem 2180 or Chem 3181 or permission of instructor. Bio 3433 or Bio 3403 prerequisite for Bio 3434. Open to all biology majors; students should consult their advisors and consider their performance in prerequisite and related courses before registering.
