PSY 3291 PSYCHOLOGY INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
Students will gain work experience and training outside the classroom setting in their discipline, under the supervision of appropriate personnel at an internship site, allowing students to integrate classroom learning with work-related experiences to help prepare them for careers. Students will identify possible internships through the use of College Central https://www.collegecentral.com/kean/. Internships are negotiated between the Kean University Office of Career Services and the supervisor within the host organization; internships may include observations, meetings, administration, research, strategic planning, product development, data analysis, report writing, etc. May be repeated credit, up to a total of 6 credits if eligible and internship is available.
Prerequisite
PSY*1000 and PSY*2000, 45 credits completed overall, at least 15 credits in Psychology
