MGS 3360 SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

This course introduces the field of social entrepreneurship which develops innovative solutions to important societal problems (e.g. poverty, hunger, human rights, homelessness, education and healthcare to disadvantaged populations, fair trade, economic development, and environmental sustainability). Students learn about forms of social entrepreneurship (e.g. nonprofit, for-profit, and hybrid organizations) and topics including opportunity recognition, strategic planning, funding, evaluation, and scaling to positively impact society in a local and global environment.
