Principles of Geographic Information System (GIS) and its applications in environmental and health studies. Fundamentals of digital cartography, spatial analysis using digital data. Acquiring, assembling, visualizing, analyzing, and presenting spatial data. Emphasis on Earth and Human Systems, including environment, resources, land use, development, population, and diseases. (3 hr lecture/3 hr lab)
