ACCT 5120 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING FOR CORPORATIONS
This advanced accounting course includes the reporting of, and the accounting transactions related to, business combinations and consolidations, intercompany accounting, multinational enterprises, foreign currency transactions and translation, partnerships including formulation and liquidation, government and not-for-profit entities, and SEC reporting. Current FASB and GASB pronouncements are included with special emphasis to assist in preparations for the CPA examination. Ethical considerations in business are a primary theme.
