HIM2010 INFO RESOURCES FOR HIM

Introductory course covering information resorce tools and strategies for developing information literacy. Uses library references, computerized search engines, Internet applications, and benchmarking with professional associations. Student self- assessments for measuring information literacy are developed and objectives set for graduates of the HIM Program. Prerequisite: Health Inforamation intended majors or acceptance into the Health information Management Program.
