IND 1300 INTRODUCTION TO DRAFTING AND CAD IN INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
Studio/lecture course covering technical drawing and CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) fundamentals and 3D design basics. In-depth study of the industry standards defined by ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization). Emphasis on the lettering, geometric construction, layout, orthographic and axonometric projection, pictorial views, sections, exploded views, scale, dimensioning, etc. and fundamental CAD commands.
