Clinical II Prerequisite: Passing score on the Praxis II. As an NJDOE requirement, Clinical II must be done in the final semester prior to graduation and taken in conjunction with EDUC 4000, the capstone education class. Any additional coursework left to that final Clinical II semester is discouraged and may only be done with the written permission of the Dean of Education. All students are highly encouraged to complete all course requirements beyond EMSE 4811 (Clinical II) and EDUC 4000 prior to this final Clinical II semester, as remaining credits (even if only a few) will delay the NJDOE's issue date of the Certification of Eligibility with Advanced Standing.

edTPA: This Performance Assessment is required and is completed during Clinical Practice II (Senior Field). Beginning in September 2019, all students must earn the state's qualifying score.
