NURS 4400 PROFESSIONAL NURSING LEADERSHIP AND INNOVATION

Introduction to the principles of leadership and management in nursing with the integration of evidence-based practice, research, and quality improvement methods in direct and non-direct nursing practice. Topics include healthcare issues and policies that influence the decision-making process of the nurse leader in determining effective, quality patient care within complex healthcare delivery systems. Utilization of an inter-professional and holistic approach for improved patient outcomes will be explored.
