MGS 2150 BUSINESS STATISTICS & APPLICATION

This course focuses on real world business data and the ability required to use statistical tools to draw meaningful conclusions. Topics include techniques for summarizing and describing data, the nature of uncertainty and probability theory, central limit theorem, and sampling methodology. Inferential topics include confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, correlation and regression, analysis. The use of Excel and other computer software for analyzing data is integrated throughout the course.
