CJ 4660 THE DEATH PENALTY IN AMERICA

An examination of the problems and issues related to the death penalty in the United States, including the history of capital punishment, important Supreme Court decisions, how the various jurisdictions (state, federal and military) deal with capital cases, the comparative costs of incarceration and execution, miscarriages of justice in capital cases and how the criminal justice responds to these issues.
