PAS 5420 CLINICAL MEDICINE THREE
The third of a series of courses designed to provide the student with a body-system approach to diseases encountered in the practice of medicine. Each module will review the pathophysiology and etiology of the related disease process. Disease presentation, differential diagnosis, diagnostic studies and evidence-based treatment/management will be addressed. The modules included in this course are Infectious Disease, Endocrinology, Genitourinary/Reproduction, Renal, Hematology/Oncology, Neurology and Musculoskeletal/Rheumatology. Lecture material will be explored in greater detail during small group discussion sessions to support the development of critical thinking skills necessary for the practice of medicine.
