PA 5820 STRATEGIC PLANNING IN HEALTH AND NON-PROFIT MANAGEMENT

This course provides an overview of all planning tasks conducted by health care and non-profit managers. Strategic, operational, financial, and capital facilities planning are each discussed. Preparation of planning documents and the creation of planning schedules is discussed. The importance of data-based planning, guided by SWOT analysis, is emphasized. Pertinent state and federal laws and regulations governing health planning activities are explained.
