HIST 2060 WORLD CIVILIZATION I

An introduction to the history of world civilization and historical thinking from the beginning of human civilization to 1500, the first truly global age. The course gives students an understanding of the past as it relates to both the present and future, with an emphasis on the emergence of institutions, cultures, and religions, and the importance of global encounter in shaping history.
