FIN 3291 FINANCE INTERNSHIP

Students will gain work experience and training outside the classroom setting in their discipline, under the supervision of appropriate personnel at an internship site, allowing students to integrate classroom learning with work-related experiences to help prepare them for careers. Students will identify possible internships either through the use of College Central https://www. Collegecentral.com/kean/ or in collaboration with their academic advisor. Prior to registration, students must obtain the approval of their academic advisor, and, in coordination with the Office of Career Services, obtain sponsor commitment. Internships are negotiated between the Kean University Office of Career Services and the supervisor within the host organization; internships may include observations, meetings, administration, research, strategic planning, product development, data analysis, report writing, etc. May be repeated for credit, up to a total of 6 credits if eligible and internship is available.
