ESL 0105 READING & WRITING I
Limited to students who are not native speakers of English. Develop as a reader and writer of English. Reading emphasis is placed on exposure to various adapted and unadapted texts with high interest topics common to college level courses. Attention is also given to the development of writing skills in response to readings and to the expansion of academic vocabulary. Reading and writing emphasis. Pass/Fail. Placement by advisement only.
