ENV 3180 PRINCIPLES OF ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

This course focuses on the fate and transport behavior of organic compounds in the environment. Quantitative and qualitative descriptions on physico-chemical properties of organic compounds will be discussed. Course emphasizes molecular processes and macroscopic transport phenomena that determine the distribution in space and time of organic chemicals released into the environment. 3 hours of lecture and 3 hours of lab.
