PA 4810 COOPERATION EDUCATION IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

Opportunity for students to obtain long-term experience in supervised public agency work linked to related academic seminars. Student works full-time (forty hours a week) during the full fall or spring semester and attends weekly seminar series on topics related to agency work. Six of the involved credits count as major elective credits in Public Administration; the remaining nine credits count as free electives. No more than forty credits in Public Administration, including the 15 credits that can be earned through this course, can count toward the minimum 124 credits required for graduation. PA 4810 and 4811 must be taken concurrently. Prerequisite(s): Junior or senior status, PA 2000, nine additional credits in public administration and permission of instructor. Prererquisites may be waived by instructor. Lederman.
