MUS 2900 CLINICAL EXPERIENCES: PRINCIPLES AND FOUNDATIONS OF MUSIC EDUCATION

An introduction to the field of music education, specifically the methods, materials, pedagogies, research, and current trends of K-12 public school music. The 50-hour clinical experience will include a variety of school settings. Clinical experiences will also emphasize both self-contained and inclusive music settings. TYPE OF COURSE: Required of all students seeking admission into the music education program PREREQUISITE: ENG*1030, COMM*1402, MATH*1010
