MATH 4710 DATA VISUALIZATION

Data visualization is the process of communicating information in graphical form. This course will introduce the concepts, models and techniques used to create effective and useful visualizations to learn how to acquire, parse, analyze large data sets and to visualize multivariate, text-based, geospatial, hierarchical, and network-graph based data. Students will utilize up-to-date visualization software tools and techniques. Type of Course: Elective Prerequisite: Math 3700
