MATH 4456 DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS

An introduction to dynamical systems: discrete and continuous linear systems. Existence, uniqueness and bifurcation of one-dimensional flows. Fixed points and stability of nonlinear dynamical systems. Phase plane analysis and numerical study of limit cycles, chaos, iterated maps, fractals and strange attractors.
