ENV 2500 BIOMIMICRY AND DESIGN

An examination of the natural patterns and processes that have informed human design historically and that offer sustainable possibilities for the future. Relevant biological and design concepts are evaluated from this perspective and used by students to conceive a team design project (3 hrs. lecture, 3 hrs. lab). Major Elective for B.S. and B.A. Programs in School of Environmental & Sustainability Sciences. Major Elective for B.F.A Interior Design, B.I.D. Industrial Design, B.F.A. Graphic Design in the Robert Busch School of Design. Prerequisite(s): ENV*1000 ENV*1100 DSN*1101
