ENV 1100 FOUNDATIONS OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE

An introduction to the study of the environment as an inclusive system that is connected to the diverse scientific fields of biology, chemistry, geology, hydrology, atmospheric science, climatology and geography. Processes of data collection, sampling, analysis, mapping, modeling and predicting are explored. This course is a major requirement for students in the School of Environmental and Sustainability Sciences and serves as a GE science option for other Kean majors. Credit cannot be given for both ENV 1000 and ENV 1100. Three credits of lecture, three credits of laboratory.
