SW 6102 CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE II

This course will concentrate on evidence based clinical social work practice for working with groups, families, and individuals. It will build on the knowledge, skills and values of engagement and intervention from the first semester. Focus is on advanced social work, clinical and client advocacy skills, techniques at each stage of the helping process, and with difficult practice situations. The course will provide students with the skills to integrate knowledge from other courses including" psychopathology; research; policy; human behavior; and the MSW program's commitment to culturally proficient social work practice.
