PSY 6510 EXTERNSHIP IN SCHOOL PSYCH
Supervised field work in School Psychology. May be taken for l credit (a minimum of 210 hours), 2 credits (a minimum of 420 hours) or 3 credits (a minimum of 630 hours) per semester until the (1200 hours is recommended). Externs must be available during the regular public school day. Graded on a credit granted/no credit basis. May be repeated for additional credit. Prerequisite(s): PSY 6000,6110,6120,6130,6200, matriculation in the school psychology program, an appropriate MA degree and permission of the coordinator. Corequisite(s): PSY 6500 Other Requisite(s): Possession of a Student Malpractice Insurance Policy issued by the American Psychological Association or the National Association of School Psychologists.
