PSY 5760 TREATMENT ISSUES IN COUPLES AND FAMILY THERAPY
Advanced study in the theories, techniques and approaches in marriage and family therapy. Includes evidence-based research and practice and how these modalities apply to common presenting problems. The course will highlight the key assumptions of various applied theories, the role of the therapeutic relationship, and the goals and strategies for effecting change.
