NURS 5300 FISCAL MGT NURS & HCS

Study of fiscal aspects of health care and nursing systems. Concepts of economics and accounting as applied to unit based budgeting will be examined. Fiscal analysis of patient costs, insurance reimbursement and regimen costs will be done to further an understanding of the fiscal implications of the care to both the health care system ans to the patient. Prerequisite: Year 1 of Course Work
