Analysis of human relations and communication theories as applied to management of nursing, patient care, and diverse ethnic and cultural personnel systems. Emphasis on group and inter group dynamics, interpersonal communication, conflict, power, and change. Teaching strategies will emphasize interpersonal communication using verbal, nonverbal, written, multicultural, and audiovisual modes.
