EMSE 3903 ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS IN AMERICAN SCHOOLS

Introduction to strategies and techniques for facilitating instruction and language acquisition of English Language Learners in mainstream classrooms. This course is aligned with edTPA rubrics NJCPST and Standards TESOL. Required: For undergraduate initial certification students in K-6, K-6/5-8, P-12 and PE N.B.: In order to ensure full class participation, any student with a disability condition requiring special accommodations (e.g., tape recorder, special adaptive equipment, special note taking or test taking procedures or sign/oral interpreter ) is strongly encouraged to contact the professor at the beginning of the course.
