SW 6101 CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE

Building on competencies from the first year practice courses, students will focus on the clinician's role and employ motivational interviewing skills to engage involuntary and hard-to-reach clients. Following this segment, students will apply advanced knowledge, values and skills developing competencies in cognitive behavioral and psychodynamics therapy interventions.
