SPED 5310 CHILDREN WITH EMOTIONAL BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS

Interaction between the emotionally disturbed child and the classroom as a social system is emphasized, along with communication and school values as they are experienced by students with emotional/behavioral disorders and the classroom teacher. Both parent and teacher expectations and values are analyzed in a multicultural setting. Prerequisite: SPED 5321, Nature & Needs of the Emotionally Disturbed and Socially Maladjusted or Special Permission of Advisor.
